Election Information and Forms
You can complete a voter registration form at any time. Voter Registration forms can be mailed to the City Offices, dropped in the after hours drop box, or delivered in person during normal City Office business hours.
Registration will be in effect for the next election if postmarked or delivered no later than 15 days before election day and you have met all the qualifications to register to vote. After the 15-day deadline and on Election Day, you may register to vote by bringing the voter registration form and residency verification to the City Clerks office.
Registered City of Chelsea residents vote at the Washington Street Education Center, 500 Washington St. Polls open at 7 AM and close at 8 PM. Absentee Ballot Applications cannot be submitted more than 75 days prior to an election.
