Absentee Ballot Information for the November 3, 2020 General Election

All requests for Absentee Ballots for the November Election have been processed and mailed as of of Thursday, September 25th.  Any registerred voter wishing to vote Absentee can submit an application.  Applications can be found on the city website under 'Clerk' and then 'Election Information & Forms'.  See links below.  Forms may be placed in the drop boxes.  You may also see us in person at the City Office.  When you arrive call 734.475.1771 and press 0 to let us know you are here. We will be happy to assist you.  Office hours are Mon-Fri 8am to 4pm.  Postage to mail a ballot is 55 cents - one first class stamp.

NOTICE:  The Chelsea city Clerk's Office will be open on Saturday, October 31, 2020 from 8am - 4pm.  Please call 734.475.1771 and press 0 to let us know you have arrived.

The city has two ballot DROP BOXES located at the city office, 305 S. Main Street.  Both drop boxes are located on the south side of the building.  One drop box is next to the side entrance door (Main Street side), the other drop box is on a silver post closer to the bank drive thru. Both drop boxes are checked several times each day.
