The Chelsea Police Department services approximately 5,000 citizens in the City of Chelsea, Michigan. We are a full-service 24/7/365 law enforcement agency. The department has a staff that includes a Chief, 2 Patrol Sergeants, 13 Patrol Officers, and 8 Reserve Officers. We also have an emergency dispatch center that dispatches for the department as well as the Chelsea Area Fire Authority. There are 7 dispatchers/clerks. The department also has 3 crossing guards and a canine unit. |
