The Chelsea Police Department services approximately 5,000 citizens in the City of Chelsea, Michigan. We are a full-service 24/7/365 law enforcement agency. The department has a staff that includes a Chief, 2 Patrol Sergeants, 13 Patrol Officers, and 8 Reserve Officers. We also have an emergency dispatch center that dispatches for the department as well as the Chelsea Area Fire Authority. There are 7 dispatchers/clerks. The department also has 3 crossing guards and a canine unit.

Battle of The Badges Blood Drive

Join everyday heroes working to help save lives! On Wednesday September 1st, 2010 join the fun in the battle of the badges blood drive. Support police or fire for the blood drive. Please log on to Red Cross and enter the sponsor code "badges" to make a donation appointment. The red cross will honor your time and will take appointments first. Limited spaces so sign up now!

The blood drive will take place at the Chelsea Community Library 221 South Main Street Chelsea, MI 48118 on September 1st, 2010 from 12pm - 6pm.
